We are BACK!!!

Our 2025 Summer Baseball Camp Registration is now open.  This is our fifth year having our defense intensive baseball camp and it has grown immensely from about 48 participants to currently over 300 players signed up in 2024.

Hello,

Once again we will be holding our Feds Defense Intensive Summer baseball camp.  The workouts will occur three times a week beginning in Mid-June, through July, on most Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  While most baseball camps are advertised as “FUN” the Federals staff has one goal during the camp– To help your child become a better defensive ball player by giving them as many repetitions in the shortest amount of time!  I don’t know about you, but I have never had fun when I did not do well at a sport!  Your son’s goal should always be to get better!  In participating in our defensive camp, they will improve! The Federals focus on fundamentals.  We realize June and July can be big vacation months so the camp is set up so your son can make it to as little as one camp date, or as many as all 17!  Call it the FLEX-CAMP!

The camp also serves as a tryout for some of our teams.  Some teams rosters are full, some have openings, and some MAY have openings.  Consider this a baseball camp first and a tryout second.

Your son’s “Travel Ball” age is determined by using this age calculator.  Use the 2025 season calculator, but for now, you must add a year for the 2025-2026 season..

Use this calculator and use the 2025-2026 dropdown (add one year)

At the camp, the players will work on (but not limited to) the following:

Outfield skills-Fly balls, proper angles, proper fielding in a pressure and non-pressure situation, pre-pitch thought, and much more!

Infield Skills-Proper fielding mechanics, footwork, fielding bunts, turning two, run-downs, fast catch, proper tags, pop-up priority, and much more!

Pitcher fielding practice-Covering first base on a ball to the right side, fielding bunts, pick-offs, and much more!

Base running (ya, it’s not defense, but an important part of the game)-Getting leads, getting good jumps, proper base running technique, and much more!

The camp is run in a “station” format whereas players of the same skill level and/or age will rotate among the various coaches.
